Woofing woods - Terms and Conditions

Use of Woofing Woods is at your own risk - as the owner you are responsible to be in control of your dog(s) at all times

Should there be adverse weather, e.g snow, storms, strong winds, heat wave, torrential rain etc. You, as the owner are responsible to check the weather and access whether it is suitable for you to still use your booking. Rescheduling is only available if more than 48hours notice given.

Arrival procedure - you will be sent directions of the woodlands with booking reminder 24 hours before your booking. When you arrive there is a combination lock (you will receive this number in your reminder email).

Reverse into the parking area and park inside the woodland and lock your self in. There are cameras on the entrance to monitor times and keep everyone safe - Reversing own keeps everyone safe, also you are not reversing out onto the road when you leave.

Parking within Woofing Woods is at your own risk - Woofing Woods is not liable for any damage, accidents or contents of your vehicle.

All dog breeds are welcome to use Woofing Woods. For XL Bully breeds and other dogs on the exemption list - please see the XL Bully info page as few extra restrictions in place to ensure you enjoy the woods correctly as per rules set by DEFRA 2024.

Please do not arrive more 5 mins before your booking, there is space to wait outside the gate or alternatively there is a lay by down the road. Please respect the booking before you and don't enter the woods until they have left.

Departure procedure - Your session end time is the time you should be leaving the woods. Please respect other field users and their right to have an uninterrupted session that they have booked for themselves and their dogs

Woofing Woods reserves the right to close the land and stop any bookings with immediate affect. Any bookings affected will be contacted immediately to inform of closure. e.g Storm damage, fence repairs etc.

Bookings are by vehicle numbers, max number of three cars per booking. We don't allow walk ins during your booking so please make sure your entire party is aware of our Ts&Cs. It is your responsibility to make the full party aware of times booked and stick to your booking.

Parking - Parking is available for up to three vehicles within the woodland. Vehicles are parked at owners own risk. Woofing Woods are not liable to any accidents or damages

Gate MUST be closed before allowing your dogs out of your car or off their leads. The gate must remain closed throughout your session. Woofing Woods is not liable for any accidents or injury to your dog(s). you are responsible for your dogs safety.

Your time slot is just for you. No one else will be using the space in that time frame. It is your responsibility to arrive on time. If you are late on arriving, you will still need to leave at the end of your time booked as there will be another appointment straight after you.

Under no circumstances should a dog receive aggressive enforcement from a human whilst at the woods. Woofing Woods encourages positive training only. Any negative training or handling seen, you will be told to leave with immediate affect. You will lose all future bookings, and will not be refunded.

Off lead exercise in the woodland is at your own risk. We have a 6ft fence surrounding the woods, you must be in control of your dog at all times. Training lines are free to use should you need too. (They are hung up in the penned area). Woofing Woods Ltd is a large area at 4.57acres, you are responsible for your dog(s) and their recall ability.

Dogs should not be left unattended at any time. You should accompany your dog(s) at all times such that you are aware of what they are doing and can ensure they are safe and are complying with these terms and conditions.

No Climbing on the equipment, walls or trees - Equipment is for use of the dog(s) only.

- Please do not move any equipment

- Please do not allow your dogs to climb the walls

This is a woodland, so be aware of roots sticking up and possible falling sticks/branches - We are not liable for any trips, falls or damage.

All prospective customers must ensure the woodland is suitable and secure for their specific use such as fence height, fencing materials, activities.

Dogs must be upto date with their vaccinations/titre tests, flea and worming treatments.

If your dog(s) is unwell (sickness/ Diahorrea etc) or shows signs of Kennel Cough, please get in touch to reschedule your booking.

Please pick up any dog poo and dispose of in the bins provided - please take your own rubbish home with you.

No BBQs or Fires, if we spot this happening you will be asked to leave immediately.

The limit of dog numbers is 8, should you want to bring more please get in touch to discuss.

The woods are in the countryside, so please be aware of livestock potentially in neighbouring fields.

Security - Cameras are up in place for your safety. If anyone is spotted misusing the woodland or not abiding to the guidelines in place you will not be welcome to use them again.

Payment is to be paid online. Payment secures your booking and means you have read and agree to these rules

Cancellations & Refunds - We do not offer refunds, we will happily rearrange your booking once to another date/time aslong as more then 48 hours notice if given.

Admin office hours are Mon - Fri 9-5 and Sat 9-12 any calls or emails outside these times will be handled as soon as possible.

Woofing Woods reserve the right to withdraw permission to use the facility at their discretion, where individuals have not complied with the rules or conditions of use. Subject to the reason for the withdrawal of the facility, any advanced payment may be refunded. However, Woofing Woods Ltd shall be under no liability for any other expenses incurred or loss sustained by the client as result of the use of the facility being withdrawn at our sole discretion.

Should there be a situation where I am called out due to user error - e.g. reversing into the gate, padlock user error. If this call out is cased by the user and not Woofing Woods, you will be charged for the time for the call out.
